Plant Identification Workshop


Martina Hoft invites you to l’Anse-à-l’Orme woods to discover and identify the native plants of this region. Interested participants can meet at the Co-op at 9:30 a.m., where Harry will lead them by bicycle to the workshop, or alternatively, they can meet at the corner of Meloche St. and Boul. D’Aoust (in Ste-Anne North) where Martina will be waiting. Bring rubber boots & mosquito repellent (without DEET please)!

The Solstice celebration


We would like to invite you, Sunday June 20th, to our summer solstice celebration at 11h00am. The Co-op is organizing a fund-raiser brunch in the garden. For a donation of 10$ you can come satiate your tummies, with a mostly organic and local breakfast served by members of the Co-op and all proceeds will go to fund the garden projects. This event will be paired with the garden ceremony given by our special guests from the Kahnawake Long House!

Movie in the garden: Earth Keepers



Join us and director Sylvie Van Brabant for this feature documentary which introduces Mikael Rioux, a young Québécois activist who founded Échofête, Quebec’s first environmental festival. Spurred by his passionate concern for the world his son will inherit, Rioux goes on a global quest to meet 7 visionaries with concrete solutions to ecological problems. Together, they offer a survival guide for our planet and a journey back to hope.
